21 Days of Fasting and Prayer

Day 10 | January 17

Scripture Reading | Acts 4:29-31

29 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. 30 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

Scriptural Prayer

Praise and Worship
Lord God Almighty, we praise You for Your omnipotence that emboldens Your servants. You are the God who hears our prayers and performs wonders. We stand in awe of Your power that shakes places and fills hearts, just as You did for the early church.

Praying God’s Will
Father, we are inspired by the early believers who prayed for boldness in the face of persecution. May we also speak Your word with fearless confidence, trusting in Your sovereign protection and the leading of Your Spirit.

Praying the Request
Grant us, O Lord, the same boldness to speak Your word without fear. Extend Your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of Your holy servant Jesus, that the world may know You.

Praying for Forgiveness
Forgive us for times of timidity and hesitation. Forgive our silence when we should speak, and our inaction when we should move. Cleanse our hearts and renew a right spirit within us, that we might serve You with courage.

Praying for Protection
Protect us from the spirit of fear and intimidation. As You shook the place where the disciples were gathered, shake us out of complacency and fill us with the Holy Spirit, that we may stand firm and resolute.

Praise and Worship
We worship You, O God, for You are with us as You were with Your servants of old. Your presence is our strength, Your word our guide, and Your Spirit our helper. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, we pray. Amen.
