Day 15: God's Nearness in Prayer | January 20

Scripture Reading | Psalm 145:18 (ESV)

"The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth."

Scriptural Prayer

Praise and Worship
Faithful Father, we worship You for being a God who is near to Your people. You are not distant or detached but intimately involved in our lives. We praise You for the promise that when we call on You with sincerity, You draw close to us. Your presence is our comfort, and Your nearness is our joy. You are worthy of all glory and honor for Your love and faithfulness.

Praying God’s Will
Lord, it is Your will that we call on You in truth, approaching You with sincere and open hearts. Help us to recognize Your presence and live in the assurance of Your closeness. May our prayers be authentic and reflective of our dependence on You, trusting in Your willingness to hear and respond.

Praying the Request
Father, we call on You today, asking for Your nearness to surround us. Let us feel Your presence in every aspect of our lives. Draw close to us as we seek You in truth and faith. Help us to cultivate a deeper relationship with You, one marked by trust, honesty, and love. Let Your presence be a source of strength and encouragement in our daily walk.

Praying for Forgiveness
Merciful God, we confess that we have not always called on You with sincerity. Forgive us for the times we have approached You halfheartedly or neglected to seek You at all. Forgive us for doubting Your nearness or relying on our own strength instead of trusting in You. Cleanse our hearts and draw us back into a close relationship with You.

Praying for Protection
Lord, protect us from the distractions and doubts that keep us from fully experiencing Your nearness. Guard our hearts from fear and anxiety, and remind us of Your constant presence. Surround us with Your peace and shield us from the lies of the enemy that seek to distance us from You. May we walk confidently, knowing that You are always near.

Praise and Worship
We praise You, Lord, for Your promise to be near to all who call on You in truth. Your presence is our refuge, and Your closeness is our strength. Thank You for being a God who is always accessible, always loving, and always faithful. May our lives reflect our gratitude for Your nearness as we live to bring glory to Your name. To You be all honor, praise, and worship, now and forever. Amen.
