Praise and Worship
Holy and Righteous God, we worship You for Your purity and justice. You are the One who hears and answers the prayers of those who seek You with sincere hearts. We honor You for Your mercy, which allows us to approach Your throne through the cleansing blood of Jesus. Thank You for being a God who attends to the cries of Your people and restores us to right standing with You.
Praying God’s Will
Lord, it is Your will that we come before You with clean hearts, free from iniquity and sin. Teach us to examine our hearts daily, confessing and repenting of anything that separates us from Your presence. Help us to value holiness and to live in obedience to Your Word, knowing that You delight in the prayers of the upright.
Praying the Request
Father, we come before You humbly, asking You to search our hearts and reveal any sin that hinders our prayers. Cleanse us with Your forgiveness and purify us with the righteousness of Christ. Create in us hearts that are pure and free from anything that grieves Your Spirit. Let our prayers rise to You as a sweet aroma, untainted by sin, and may our lives reflect Your holiness.
Praying for Forgiveness
Merciful Father, we confess that we have cherished sin in our hearts at times, prioritizing our desires over Your will. Forgive us for allowing iniquity to hinder our communion with You. Wash us clean and renew our commitment to walk in obedience. Teach us to rely on Your strength to overcome temptation and to seek Your presence with a pure heart.
Praying for Protection
Lord, protect us from the traps of sin that seek to ensnare our hearts and block our prayers. Guard us against complacency and self-deception, and help us to remain vigilant in pursuing righteousness. Shield our minds from thoughts that lead to sin and keep us rooted in Your Word. Surround us with Your Spirit, guiding us in truth and holiness.
